Sketchbooks are both moments in time and also are a means to capture ideas with the energy they pop into your brain. It can always be challenging to capture and transfer that to a final piece. But what I like about sketchbooks is that you get to see a little creative effervescence in an artist's mind. Here is a bit of mine.
